About Us

Fontanet Group is a multi-company group that brings together under one supplier four activities that are usually split apart: distribution of packaging and wrapping consumables, supply and installation of machinery, technical advisory and project study, and after-sales service with spare parts. We serve industry in general and the agri-food sector in particular.

Ours is an advisory model, not a fixed catalogue. A project starts by studying your actual line — product, format, volume, available space and target shelf life — and ends with a proposal combining the consumable and the machine that fit best. That is why this site publishes no prices: the same product family covers very different configurations depending on the line, and each quotation is prepared case by case.

The group is made up of Fontanet Group as the parent company; MARFONT, the division specialising in packaging and wrapping machinery, with over 30 years of experience in process automation; and FLLEIDA · HIOPOS LLEIDA as regional partner. We also sponsor HIOPOS LLEIDA, the Lleida basketball team competing in the Spanish ACB league.

We hold FSC certification, attesting to the responsible origin of the fibre used in our paper and board products; SCRAP certification, under the Spanish collective extended producer responsibility scheme for packaging; and the Sanitary Registry, required for products intended for contact with foodstuffs.

Our head office and warehouse are in the Plataforma Logística y de Transporte industrial park in Fraga, Huesca, next to the Ebro valley fruit-growing area and the logistics corridor between Zaragoza and Barcelona. We distribute throughout Spain and actively in Portugal, France, Italy and Andorra.

Fruit and vegetable growers and packhouses, meat, fish and dairy industry, industrial manufacturing, and logistics and warehousing. Each sector has its own combination of packaging and machinery, and it is in that combination that we add judgement.
