ZUK-200 sleeving machine

The ZUK-200 is a column sleeving machine: a vertical machine with a central tube topped by a cone, designed to put produce into its sleeve mechanically. It replaces the manual job of opening each sleeve or bag, holding it and putting the produce in, which is slow, tiring for the operator and leaves packs that differ from one another. With the machine, every unit comes out sleeved in the same way and the operator simply feeds and removes.

Its design is compact and simple. According to the catalogue sheet, it weighs 50 kg and takes up 1.20 m in length by 0.50 m in width, so it fits next to a work table or at the end of a line; it does, however, need clear height, because the column with its overhead frame reaches 2.80 m. The image shows the motorised brush rollers beside the tube, the control panel with emergency stop button and a side reel holder.

Power consumption is minimal: a 0.18 kW motor on a three-phase 400 V, 50 Hz supply. It is a machine designed to work long hours during the season without driving up the electricity bill or requiring any special installation beyond the three-phase socket that is standard in industrial buildings and warehouses.

Before choosing it, it is worth defining three things: what produce you are going to sleeve, what type and size of sleeve you use and what throughput you need. The ZUK-200 is a simple sleeving solution; if what you are looking for is closing netting with a clip or clip band, or wrapping in film, the right machines are the netting machines or the flowpack wrapper, and if you need to put the product in boxes, the case packer.
