The MEN110 is the entry-level netting machine in the range. The operator feeds and assists the cycle, and the machine takes care of the two stages that come out worst by hand: cutting the net to the length of the format and closing the pack. According to its catalogue sheet it reaches up to 40 nets per minute and works with both knitted and extruded net.

It is the machine for the first step up. If you net by hand today, it is not only the pace that changes: every unit comes out the same, with the same length of net and the same closure, without needing the space or the investment of an automatic line. It suits medium output and growers with a well-defined season, where the machine works hard for a few months and rests for the rest of the year.

Compared with its automatic sisters, the practical difference lies in staffing and flexibility. The MEN110 needs one operator per machine; with the MEL110 or the REK 140, one operator can look after the line.
