Automatic labeller with format adjustment

Some lines always label the same container, while others change box or product several times a shift. This automatic labeller with format adjustment is for the latter. The container travels along a central conveyor belt and passes between the labelling heads, which apply the label on the move. In the configuration shown on the sheet there are two opposing heads, each with its own reel, so two sides can be labelled in a single pass. The side guides are adjusted with a crank handle to centre the container according to its size, and the whole unit is run from a touch screen, with a warning beacon on the column.

Placement accuracy matters more than it might seem. A crooked or misplaced label on an export box looks bad, can cover mandatory information and, if it carries a barcode, can make scanning harder at the destination warehouse. Keeping the position on every format is precisely what gets lost when labelling by hand or with a machine that is poorly adjusted.

Within the range, it differs from the Codipack 200, which is compact and designed to label from the top or bottom with thermal transfer printing, and from the LS-500, which integrates weighing for variable-weight products. This is the option when the priority is variety of formats and labelling boxes or containers of different sizes on the same line, for example at the end of the line next to the case sealer.
