The Codipack 200 is designed to add automatic labelling to a line that already exists, without rebuilding it. Its catalogue sheet describes it as adaptable to any production line, and the key is its adjustable telescopic stand: the machine is raised or lowered to the height of the conveyor it has to work with, whether that is the outfeed of a wrapper, a tray sealer or a packing table.

Labelling is versatile: the label is applied to the top or the bottom face of the pack, depending on where the information needs to go. Trays and packs with a visible face are usually labelled on top; products where the label must not cover the produce or the printed brand are labelled underneath. Packs are detected by a photocell, which marks the exact moment of application so that each label lands in the right place even if the packs do not arrive evenly spaced.

It incorporates thermal transfer printing, so the label can come out with the batch, date, barcode or other variable data at the very moment it is applied, without pre-printing rolls for each reference. It is operated from a touch panel, with its own electrical cabinet and emergency stop button, and the structure is stainless steel, suitable for food environments.

Within the range of labelling machines, the Codipack 200 is the compact option that is easy to integrate. If your product is variable-weight and the label has to show the actual weight, the right machine is the LS-500, with integrated weighing.
