CR25 hand labeller
A handheld label applicator, battery-powered and weighing 600 g, for labelling short runs, boxes in the warehouse or one-off references without setting up an in-line machine.
Not all labelling justifies an automatic machine. When it comes to labelling a special order, a batch of boxes in the warehouse, relabelling a consignment or marking products in an area with no line, the practical choice is a hand labeller. That is what the CR25 is: an applicator the operator holds and runs over the pack or box to leave the label in place.
What sets it apart from a purely mechanical applicator is the battery. It is fitted with a 3000 mAh Li-ion battery, giving it the autonomy to work cable-free around the warehouse or cold store, from one pallet to the next. At 600 g, it can be used all day without straining the wrist, which really shows during the season, when labelling goes on for many hours at a stretch.
It takes rolls up to 120 mm, which are mounted on the roll holder disc. The label runs over the guide rollers to the applicator roller, which presses it onto the surface as the labeller is moved along. It is a simple system with few parts, easy to reload and easy to clean.
Within the manual range, it differs from the TOWA, a mechanical applicator with automatic label edge detection. If your volume grows and hand labelling starts to slow down dispatch, the next step is an automatic in-line labeller such as the Codipack 200 or the labeller with format adjustment. To decide, it helps to count how many labels you apply each day and how many different formats you handle.
Fontanet Group, through MARFONT, its machinery division, advises you on the right labeller and labels and provides technical service. From Fraga (Huesca), with a team of more than 30 years in the sector, we help you choose between manual and automatic. Compatible label types and availability are confirmed with our sales team.

Frequently asked questions
When is a hand labeller worthwhile?
When you label short runs, special orders or products off the line. If hand labelling starts to slow down dispatch, it is time to move to an automatic labeller.
Does it need to be plugged in to work?
Not while it is charged: it runs on a 3000 mAh Li-ion battery, so you can carry it around the warehouse without a cable.
How does it differ from the TOWA?
The CR25 is battery-powered and takes rolls up to 120 mm. The TOWA is a mechanical applicator for labels up to 100 mm, with automatic edge detection.
