TOWA 30-60-100 hand labeller

The TOWA is a handheld applicator for self-adhesive labels. The operator loads the roll, rests the labeller on the box, bag or pack and moves it along: the applicator roller peels off the label and presses it onto the surface. It is the fastest way to label by hand when the volume does not justify an automatic machine but is high enough that peeling labels off one by one becomes a waste of time.

What makes it accurate is the automatic edge detector. The mechanism identifies where one label ends and the next begins, so each pass releases a single label, complete and aligned, without the operator having to judge how much of the roll to pull. This prevents double, cut or overlapping labels, which look bad on a shipping box and can cover up information.

The TOWA 30-60-100 series comes in several applicator sizes, as the catalogue sheet shows, and takes labels of up to 100 mm. It is a mechanical device, with no battery or cable: it does not need charging, can be used anywhere in the warehouse and needs hardly any maintenance beyond keeping the roller clean. The opening lever makes changing the roll easy.

Compared with the CR25, which runs on a battery and takes rolls of up to 120 mm, the TOWA is the simple mechanical option for labels up to 100 mm. Both handle labelling of short batches or off-line work. When volume grows or you need to print variable data on each label, it is worth moving up to an automatic labelling machine such as the Codipack 200 or, if the product has a variable weight, the LS-500.
