Master 3 X4 mobile stretch wrapping robot

The Master 3 X4 solves a floor layout problem more than a volume one. Instead of taking the pallet to a fixed stretch wrapper, you take the robot to the pallet: to the warehouse, the loading dock or a temporary dispatch area. A feeler wheel follows the outline of the load while the robot travels around it and the carriage moves up and down the column applying the film.

It runs on a battery, so it needs no power socket at the work point and no cables across the floor, and its autonomy comfortably covers a normal working day. A single operator positions it next to the pallet using the tiller, starts the cycle and moves on to the next one. That makes it very well suited to large pallets and to unusual or unstable loads that do not fit on, or cannot rotate on, a turntable.

Film tension is controlled by a carriage with a mechanical clutch, which keeps the tightness even on every turn. It is operated from a screen panel on the column, where you select the stored wrapping programmes so each type of load gets its own recipe without readjusting the machine every time.

Master 3 X4 or Speedy? Both are mobile robots and share the idea of wrapping without a fixed station. The Master 3 X4 is the top step of the range: faster cycles, a screen panel and stored programmes, designed for operations that wrap many different pallets throughout the day. The Speedy is simpler, with a mechanical brake carriage and push-button panel, for more basic use. If your pallets are always stable and you wrap at a single point, a turntable machine such as the LD-200 may be enough.
