Speedy self-propelled pallet wrapping robot

The Speedy is the entry point to mobile pallet wrapping robots. Like its big brother, the Master 3 X4, it needs no turntable and no dedicated station on the floor: the operator brings it up to the pallet, rests the feeler wheel against the load and the robot travels around it applying film while the carriage runs up and down the height of the pallet.

It is compact and easy to move between areas, so it makes sense when wrapping does not always happen in the same place: order picking in different aisles, loading docks or buildings whose layout keeps changing. It avoids taking every pallet to a fixed machine with the forklift, which costs time and risks knocks. As it does not occupy a fixed station, when it is not in use it can be parked in a corner, leaving the work area clear.

Its whole approach is simplicity. It is operated from a push-button panel on the column, with a display and keys for adjusting the cycle, and film tension is controlled by a carriage with a mechanical brake, which regulates how tight the film is and helps avoid wasting it. Few functions, easy to learn, so that any operator can use it productively from day one.

Speedy or Master 3 X4? If you wrap similar pallets and want a robot without complications, the Speedy covers the job. If you handle many different loads, need a faster cycle or want stored programmes on a panel with a screen, the Master 3 X4 is the next step up.
