Kraft paper packaging tape

Kraft paper tape differs from other packaging tapes in its backing. Where polypropylene and PVC are plastic films, here the base is paper. It is the eco-friendly option in our range and the one chosen by companies that want their packaging to be consistent with what they communicate: no visible plastic and a natural look that blends in with the cardboard box.

That image is a large part of its value. On a kraft box, paper tape gives a careful, almost handcrafted finish that is associated with premium products, local shops or brands with an environmental commitment. That is why it suits online shops, gourmet products, cosmetics or any shipment where the end customer opens the box and notices the details.

It helps to be clear about the general rule so as not to get it wrong. Kraft is for companies with sustainability policies or looking for a careful presentation. If what matters is mechanical strength and heavy use, with many boxes a day and rough handling, polypropylene is still the choice. And if the boxes are irregular or the shipment needs a particularly secure closure, PVC provides more grip.

Kraft can be custom printed: you can carry your logo, a slogan or handling notices in up to 3 colours, just as with polypropylene packaging tape, with a minimum order of around 360 rolls. We also supply coloured packaging tapes for those who want to code destinations or batches. The standard core is 76 mm, suitable for most hand dispensers and case sealers; if you are going to use it on a machine, tell us the model so we can confirm the format is compatible.
