Automatic rotary line: denesting, dosing, heat sealing and lidding

A carousel that handles all the packing of tubs and cups in a single circuit: it takes the empty container, fills it, seals it with film under modified atmosphere and fits the lid, up to 8,000 containers per hour.

On a rotary line the containers do not move in single file along a long conveyor: they turn on a carousel and pass through stations arranged in a circle. On each turn, the empty container is denested, the product is dosed, it is heat-sealed with film and the lid is fitted. The result is a very compact installation for what it does, with the whole process concentrated around a single axis and a control cabinet.

According to its catalogue sheet, this line reaches up to 8,000 containers per hour and incorporates a modified atmosphere system with film. Denesting and lidding are automatic, so the operators' job is simply to replenish containers, lids and film and to supervise the process. The image also shows the dosing unit with hopper, tank and pump.

It is the solution for consumer tubs and cups: sauces such as aioli, pâtés and spreads, desserts, dairy products or snacks in cups. These are fast-moving, small-format, high-volume products, where every second per container counts. Film sealing under modified atmosphere gives a tight seal and extends shelf life, and the top lid completes the presentation and protects the seal.

How does it differ from its sister machines? The LA-250 line handles larger buckets —rectangular, square and cylindrical— with high-precision dosing. The L-550 tray sealer seals containers that arrive already filled, at up to 12-15 cycles per minute. The rotary line integrates the four operations in one carousel and is designed for small formats at high speed.

MARFONT, the machinery division of Fontanet Group, studies your product and containers, configures the dosing and tooling and takes care of installation, commissioning, training and technical service. From Fraga (Huesca), with a team that has more than 30 years in the sector, we prepare your proposal: container formats, doser and technical data are confirmed with our sales team.
