LA-250 automatic tub filling line

A single installation for packing products in tubs: high-precision dosing and sealing of rectangular, square and cylindrical containers, with a hygienic design.

The LA-250 is not a standalone machine but an automatic tub filling line. It brings together in a single stainless steel structure the operations that a manual plant carries out at separate stations: feeding empty containers, dosing the product and sealing with film. The catalogue image shows the stacks of containers at the infeed, the sealing station with its reel and the control screen.

Its sheet highlights three points. First, it works with rectangular, square and cylindrical containers, something not every line can handle, because the shape of the container affects transport and sealing. Second, high-precision dosing: with bulk products every extra gram is product given away and every gram short is a declared-weight problem. Third, a hygienic and safe design, built for cleaning in the food industry and for operator protection.

Within the tub family, the difference lies in what is included. The semi-automatic tub sealer and the automatic tub sealer seal containers that arrive already filled; the LA-250 adds dosing and organises the complete process. Compared with the automatic rotary line, designed for pots and cups at high speed, the LA-250 is geared towards larger containers such as the tubs of sauces and mayonnaise used in foodservice.

A line like this is decided after a preliminary study. You need to define the product and how it behaves when dosed —liquid, paste, with pieces—, the tub formats, the target hourly output and what comes afterwards: lidding, labelling, checkweighing and palletising. The sheet does not publish speed or dimensions precisely because they are configured according to that study.

MARFONT, the machinery division of Fontanet Group, studies your process, configures the line and handles installation, commissioning, training and technical service. From Fraga (Huesca), with a team with more than 30 years in the sector, we prepare your proposal: formats, doser, output and technical data are confirmed by our sales team.

Frequently asked questions

How does it differ from the automatic tub sealer?

The tub sealer closes containers that arrive already filled. The LA-250 is a complete line that also doses the product with high precision.

Which container shapes does it take?

Rectangular, square and cylindrical tubs, according to the catalogue sheet. Specific sizes are defined with your containers.

What output does it reach?

The sheet does not publish a figure because it depends on the product, the format and the configuration. With your data we calculate the actual output for you.
