Tailor-made automated production line

An automated production line integrates several machines so that the product goes through the whole packing and packaging process without bottlenecks. It usually includes infeed conveying, weighing or dosing, the packing machine that suits the product (flowpack, tray sealer, vertical bagger or netting machine), checkweighing and inspection, labelling, grouping into boxes and palletising. How many of those stations your plant needs is the first thing to decide.

That is why it has no fixed technical data sheet. A line runs at the speed of its slowest machine, and a sizing mistake at one station cancels out the investment in all the others. The work starts with a study of the type of product, the real volume at the seasonal peak, the space available, the degree of automation that makes sense and your growth targets in the short and medium term. With that, the layout of the line is defined and the equipment is chosen.

The advantage of working with a single supplier is coordination. Integrating them from the start avoids machines that do not talk to each other, badly planned conveyors and stoppages that nobody knows who to blame for.

There is no need to do everything at once. A well-designed line is modular: you can start by automating the section that uses the most labour (often the end of the line, case packing and palletising) and add stations in a second phase without replacing what already works.
