Disposable coats for visitors and plant staff
A light, strong single-use garment that covers the street clothes of anyone entering a handling or production area.
Street clothes are one of the ways dirt, dust or residues from other environments reach a clean area. The disposable coat solves that problem with a layer that goes on over clothing on the way in and comes off on the way out. Because it is single-use, there is no need to wash it, store it or check whether it is clean: everyone gets a fresh one.
It makes most sense for people who do not wear a plant uniform. Customer visits, auditors, maintenance technicians, drivers who have to walk through the building or office staff coming down to production. Keeping them at the entrance, together with caps and overshoes, means anyone can follow the access protocol in a minute without relying on the workforce's changing rooms.
They are also used by your own staff for specific tasks or moments: a change of section, one-off work in a more sensitive area, peak season periods with temporary staff who have not yet been issued a uniform, or activities in which work clothes could get dirty and are worth protecting.
The coat is part of a set. On its own it covers the torso and arms, but hygiene in a handling area is completed with a cap or hairnet, overshoes to avoid bringing in dirt from outside, gloves and a hand-washing point at the entrance. That is why the usual approach is to put together an access kit with all these items and size consumption according to the number of visits and shift changes.
At Fontanet Group (Fraga, Huesca) we work with a team that has more than 30 years in the sector and we keep permanent stock of PPE and hygiene products so your production never stops for lack of supplies. Our sales team will confirm the sizes, material, colour and presentation of the coats available, and will help you work out the consumption of your access kit.
