Kraft bubble wrap roll
A laminate of outer kraft paper and inner bubble: the cushioning of bubble wrap with the strength and finish of paper.
The kraft bubble wrap roll combines two materials in a single sheet. On the inside, a bubble layer that absorbs knocks and vibration just like standard bubble wrap. On the outside, kraft paper that adds what bubble alone lacks: tear resistance and a paper surface that gives the parcel a different look. That is what the catalogue sheet sums up as double protection: paper plus bubble.
That kraft layer changes how it behaves in practice. Clear bubble wrap, over sharp edges or pieces with metal corners, can puncture or split when handled; the outer paper withstands those stresses better and keeps the wrapping intact all the way to its destination. You can also write on it, it is easy to tape and it does not slip as much in the hand or on the packing table.
It is a common choice when the parcel is visible: shipments to end customers, premium products or brands that want paper presentation instead of visible plastic. The sheet describes it as a more sustainable and recyclable finish. Even so, it is worth being clear that it is still a laminate containing bubble; if your customer asks for paper-only protection, the alternative is hidrocuero paper or paper shred.
Compared with the standard bubble wrap roll, the kraft version is somewhat heavier and opaque, but stronger and better looking. Compared with foam, it cushions more and protects against knocks, not just scuffs. It is used like any roll: cut the length you need and wrap the piece, kraft side out, closing with packaging tape or kraft paper tape to keep the look consistent.

Frequently asked questions
What does kraft add compared with normal bubble wrap?
More tear resistance and a paper finish. The cushioning still comes from the inner bubble layer.
Is it 100% paper packaging?
No: it combines paper and bubble. If you need paper-only protection, we recommend hidrocuero paper or paper shred.
Which way round do you wrap it?
Kraft side out, to take advantage of its strength and look; the bubble is in contact with the product.
