Zermat DC950 PRO vacuum packaging machine
High-output automatic vacuum packaging machine, with a hood over a belt, for integration into vacuum and shrink packaging lines.
The DC950 PRO is Zermat's model for when vacuum packaging stops being a tabletop task and becomes a line. Instead of loading and unloading a chamber by hand, the bagged product comes in on a conveyor belt, the hood comes down, draws the vacuum and seals, and the piece moves on to the next step. The catalogue sheet describes it as an automatic machine for high output, large formats and heavy loads, which relieves the operator of having to attend to every cycle.
Its strength is integration. It is a model that can be synchronised with automatic vacuum and shrink packaging lines, with continuous bag drying: the bag leaves the packaging machine, passes through the shrink tunnel and arrives dry at case packing or labelling. This is the usual set-up in the meat, cured products, cheese or fish industries, where hundreds of pieces per shift pass along the same line and any stoppage is felt across the whole plant.
To sustain that pace it is fitted with a 300 m3/h, 7.8 kW Busch vacuum pump, and an LED control panel with 20 programmes, a vacuum sensor and time control. The sensor allows it to work by actual vacuum level and not just by time, which gives a more consistent result with pieces of varying size. Options include gas injection, an outfeed belt, a switchable excess-trim cutter, a Roots pump to speed up the vacuum and installation of the pump outside, away from the packing room.
Compared with the BluesVac 42+, a tabletop hood vacuum packaging machine for food workshops, the DC950 PRO is a line machine: more pumping capacity, more programmes, a belt and synchronisation with the rest of the process. Choosing between the two depends on daily volume, the size of the pieces and whether there is shrink wrapping and labelling downstream.
MARFONT, the machinery division of Fontanet Group, studies your line, installs the machine, trains the operators and provides technical service. From Fraga (Huesca), with a team with more than 30 years in the sector, we advise you on the configuration and options. Dimensions, maximum bag format and throughput for your product are confirmed by our sales team.

Frequently asked questions
How does it differ from a tabletop hood vacuum packaging machine?
The DC950 PRO works on a belt and synchronises with the line, so the operator does not load and unload the chamber on each cycle. It also has a 300 m3/h Busch pump and 20 programmes with a vacuum sensor.
Can it be connected to a shrink tunnel?
Yes. It is a model that can be synchronised with automatic vacuum and shrink packaging lines, with continuous bag drying. We look with you at how it fits into your line.
Can the pump be installed outside the room?
Yes, external pump installation is one of its options, as is the Roots pump to speed up the vacuum. The choice depends on your room and your throughput.
